About
thunder world goa
Hiii! I'm Heet Sojitra,
Co-founder of Thunder World Goa.
Let me tell you the story of how this whole electrifying adventure began.
You know, the spark of turning science into entertainment actually struck me way back in 8th grade.
Nikola Tesla, the genius behind wireless electricity transmission, became a huge inspiration for me.
But, eighth-grade Heet wasn't content with just reading about Tesla.
That same year, for a school project, I built a mini Tesla coil that could light up bulbs and tubes!
From there, I dove headfirst into researching and developing wireless electricity transfer.
Fast forward through some not-so-stellar academic achievements (don't tell my mom), I got admission into BITS Technical University.
But after a year, I felt lost and unsupported with my ideas.
Thankfully, presenting them to my professors sparked their interest.
They even provided a little funding to help me keep pushing forward!
But then...
Covid hit.
BOOM!
The world came to a standstill.
The entire nation went into lockdown.
I had nothing to do.
Stuck at home, purely out of interest, I managed to build a massive Tesla coil.
Like any tech-savvy youngster, I recorded a video and put it on my socials.
Somehow, a video of it reached Mr. Nikhil Patel, who offered a life-changing partnership and significant funding.
Together, we created India's first musical Tesla coil.
It was capable of generating music from sparks and transforming regular voltage into millions of volts.
It created an appealing display, merging art and science in a way that had never been done before.
And thus, Thunder World Goa was born.
Today, it's a place where thousands of tourists come to experience the thrill of science in a safe and, dare I say, shockingly fun way.
With an average rating of 4.5/5, the electrifying experiences leave them in awe.
So, if you're looking for a unique adventure that's a little more 'shocking' than the usual tourist traps, come on down!
We promise it'll be a positive experience.
